Amie Ferris-Rotman is a British-American journalist with over a decade of foreign reporting experience, from more than a dozen countries. She is currently based in Moscow, where she is correspondent for The Washington Post. She has previously reported from across Russia and the former Soviet Union with Foreign Policy, The Wall Street Journal and Reuters. She spent two years in Afghanistan as Reuters senior correspondent. She is a regular contributor to Haaretz, and her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Politico, Vogue, Foreign Policy, the Guardian, Monocle and more.

In 2013/14, Amie was awarded the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship at Stanford University, where she developed Sahar Speaks. She is also the recipient of the 2015 Georgina Henry Women in Journalism Award for Innovation.
